The hammer is almost done. I'm not happy with the vise screw, and will make another. May also use a larger thread. Vintage earring box for storing the parts...

The real lock plate was forged. I'm going to cut/file mine out of a solid piece of 1/2" square steel rod. (Wish me luck!)
